Russell is a second generation financial advisor and has been practicing since graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1985. As a founding partner at Jacobs, Coolidge & Company, Russell specializes in fee-based financial and estate planning, working with many high-net-worth individuals and business owners on the design and implementation of income protection strategies, the creation of sustainable retirement income streams and effective estate planning and legacy development. He holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®) designations.
Russell is active in many professional and community organizations, including the Jacksonville Estate Planning Council and as a member of the Davis Love Foundation’s Foundation Club. He also serves as a board member for the Savannah Community Foundation, is current chairman of the Jekyll Island Foundation, and board member and Foundation chair at Epworth by the Sea. Russell is married to Cindy Shiver and has two children, daughter, Madeline, and son, Parker.
