Russell is a second generation financial advisor and has been practicing since graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1985. As a founding partner at Jacobs, Coolidge & Company, Russell specializes in Fee-based Financial and Estate planning, working with many high-net-worth individuals and business owners on the design, creation and implementation of income protection & sustainable retirement income strategies, through effective Estate Planning and Legacy development. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®), Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations.
Russell is active in many professional and community organizations. He is a member of the Davis Love Foundation’s Foundation Club, serves as a board member for the Savannah Community Foundation, immediate past chair of the Jekyll Island Foundation and a board member and Foundation chair at Epworth by the Sea. Russell is married to Cindy (Shiver) and has two adult children, daughter, Madeline, and son, Parker.
